Ansonia beats Woodland in battle of unbeatens

The Ansonia Chargers remained unbeaten by taking care of previously unbeaten Woodland 36-20 Friday night at Woodland.

It was far from easy however, as Woodland jumped out to an early 14 point, lead scoring on their first two possessions.

But the Chargers battled back, scoring on a Sheldon Schuler 13 yard pass to Garrett Cafaro, and then a 60 yard punt return by Shykeem Harmon.
Harmons' 2 pt run and a good extra point by Jalen Johnson put the Chargers ahead to stay 15-14.

In the second half, the Chargers added scores from Johnson (25 yd pass from Schuler), Harmon on a 2 yard run, and Schuler with a 2 yard run.
